I did. I played way back when in the beginning then played again about a year ago. My subscription ran out in June and I didn't renew because I havnt been able to play since January.

I did recently discover forsaken world via steam though... it's a "free" version which is pretty darn good for just jumping on for a little play every so often. They of course try to make you buy things though but for just a bit of a run around and monster ass-kicking it's good enough for me!

WOW will always have a special place in my heart... got all teary when the cataclysm adverts were appearing on TV.

I used to play it, i got so hooked that i would be on like 24/7, which is not good at all and it wasted a lot of my time and money, so never again

I'm very sad, so I play it a lot. Mainly on Azjol-Nerub and Bronze Dragonflight (Alliance and Horde respectively).

lol, shouldn't the title read: world of war-crack, as the saying goes around our social group, origins being to the addictiveness of it...

i don't play but my friend does...

I know too many of my friends who regularly lose half their week by playing this game so i've never been tempted to give it a try, I have little enough time without getting addicted to WOW!

I seem to have a lot of characters that are around level 60. After doing the first 3 run-thrus I got the the point of utterly despising the Hellfire Peninsula.

Why do you assume that if you played you would get addicted?
Because I always do!!

I've been into computer games all my life and I get sucked in far too easily - if people I know who aren't particularly into games have got addicted to it then I don't rate my chances...and I'm not risking it!
