I don't tend to greet people in the street but if you sit next to me on a train - you will make conversation with me.

Your sitting closer to me than the other half sits on the sofa at home - therefore you are obliged to chit chat until one of us gets off / other person leaves to sit somewhere else...

I've got off several times on a conversation with you..

I kinda wish more people would do that on trains...

I once had a very enjoyable trip over to Wales (before I could drive) chatting to the lady next to me and her granddaughter - made the journey go so much quicker!

I rescued a 'lost' dog today in Wickes car-park. I was about to lend him my phone when his manservant appeared in the distance.

I also overheard conversations that made me wonder just how unsuccessful Nigerian scammers really are..

"Is it a debit or a credit card?" - "It's a payment card."

And, from another person, failing to operate a card machine -
"It says 'Card inoperative - please remove card' - what does that mean?"
The cashier got in before I could explain that it means "Put it in properly, you tosser!"

Had a conversation on the way to Barmouth with a guy that worked at CERN and had travelled over by train early that morning from Amsterdam. Very interesting bloke, him and his OH had planned a trip around the UK for a holiday that visited virtually no major city. Their first port of call was a small guesthouse in a village a few stops north of us in the middle of nowhere.

Just leaving work and a very unfortunate lady on our car park, had another car roll into hers and totally wipe the side of her car out.

What made it worse is she said she was a mobile hairdresser.

Do your hair?

I've ended up buying the stuff that @Gadget recommended to get rid of my red/pink hair.....I haven't had the balls to use it yet though, I'm waiting till I'm mind mumbingly bored before I attempt it....I'm also sure something truly terrible & expensive will happen.
One of the nurses at work (young n pretty little thing) had her hair done yesterday, she can't remember her natural colour :( so, she had her roots done and she's now gone an ash blonde shade. It's lovely. I just wish my skin tone wasn't 30 shades lighter than brilliant white, I would love to go blonde........

Haven't slept a wink all night, spent most of it with my head down the toilet throwing up, and to top it all I have a blocked runny nose, and my breathing makes me sound like Darth Vader. For the first time in 3years I've rung in sick.............

Hope you feel better soon Glam !

I was up all night because I just couldn't sleep a wink. Lay there for a couple of hours wide awake , got up and started a hard jigsaw for 4 hours, went back to bed and lay there, lay there, lay there watching the illuminated time on the bedroom ceiling....... Last time I saw it was 6.45am. - Then the neighbours radio alarm woke me up blasting away on full volume at 7.15

Thought about driving to Asda to get some petrol at 4am but decided it was a bit too scary standing out there on my own at that time of night in the dark :(

I know. Felling rotten to my core at the mo, as I was walking over the car park, my brother and lovely sister in law drove in, I've had to avoid the pair of them because he's been ill with cancer and I don't want to give it to him!
