About to venture to Asda - I'm now regretting forgetting to buy milk yesterday....

Wish me luck!
We went down to Asda first thing ,so we could pop in for a few things we couldn't get in Iceland , whilst getting petrol . Still a bloody nightmare in there going early.I hate both the shop and the car park.

Hope you feel better soon Glam. I can put up with most illnesses quite well, but not those which involve speaking on the big white telephone to god. ;)

I know that feeling well, I've lost so much time to waiting :(
Hope you are feeling better soon Glam.
I didn't get to bed till 5am as the oh was trying to update a website. I've woken up looking like someone punched me in the mouth and my lips have gone oozy :urgh: That will teach me to bow to parental pressure and use their wonder treatment for my eczema instead of my tried and trusted balm. They are going to be horrible for days :(

Just got my iceland delivery and can't get it all into the freezer, despite taking everything out of boxes and bagging it instead :o Now having to cook lots of goodies and eat them tonight and the next few days or so. Well, hubbys thinks he's taking some southern fried chicken portions to works on monday..... smelling so nice in the oven at the moment I can't see them lasting past the next couple of hours.
So...a feast washed down with cider tonight :munch::pint: Diet resumes again tomorrow............ :D

(And after hearing son has dropped his phone and costing £140 to repair  think I need that drink! )

Bored. Its Mrlittlemes's birthday today, waiting for him to get home from work & open his presents & for eldest son to appear too, neither of them know what time they will be here....

I have a million plants that I could be planting, but instead I'm in limbo.....waiting, waiting, waiting...

If you planted some Wisteria Sinensis you could limbo under it while you wait

Surely that is sons problem?
Yes, he's got to pay for it. Just me fuming that even more of his money has gone down the drain. Paid out £150 insurance excess when it 'broke' last year as well. :grr: Turned out to be £135 this time in the end .I checked at a shop in Stafford today to make sure he wasn't being ripped off by the shop he took it to, but no....Samsung are one of the most expensive to repair apparently and the shop here charges £140 as well..

So he had insurance but still had to pay £150 excess last time? Sounds like a crap policy! Not had insurance since my first Nokia 6210, also never broken a phone. If I ever do I'll just get a very cheap replacement til my contract is next up.

Lesson learnt.....stick to the good old fashioned stuff in future!

Rushing to get phones after the T-mobile shop assistant pissed us off, went to the then Virgin shop in the arcade. It was sold as 'free insurance' with the phones and wrongly promised by the people in the Virgin shop that we would get a shiny new replacement along with new charger etc if it was broken/lost etc and an excess of £60 max. In our panic when it broke late at night we rang Virgin for advice.....Was actually charged £150 excess and sent a reconditioned model , with a glass front instead of an original screen , and minus the charger.

Should have stuck with my old Nokia 6303 , which has outlived it's replacement Nokia, and which hubby has used since and still going strong! When the contracts run out in November it will be back to cheapo phones for me and on PAYG to save forking out a fortune each month on a contract.

Hit a snag when I went to cool the booze down in the freezer -no room:o. Solution.....cans and bottles now cooling nicely in the freezer. Cool bags to the rescue for the bags of veg that have been temporarily kicked out.

Just been out to fly my drone. A somewhat quieter Saturday evening than last week which was my first proper "out on the town" night in about 12 years! I'm feeling about £130 better off than last Saturday, but there's that little denial part of being 40 that wants to go out again tonight. 6 pints & 6 Jager bombs anyone? ;)

Help me start my denial on Wednesday :ohno:
I'm in denial that I will be 60 in less than a year :ohno: Still only feel and act about 30! Watching Ibiza weekender at the moment and reminising of my times at The Ibiza Beach Party (and got the photos to help ;) )

I'll join you :D

I made coffee with the Tassimo, noticed a dark coffee splodge in the foam on top, had a twiddle and created a pretty heart for the oh. He loved it but now is moaning it wasn't stirred  I'm trying to decide whether I want the hassle of cooking a roast dinner or not :?:
I have decided though that I'm sick to death of my hair. I used to be able to tie it back or put it up but I can't lift my arm to do that now and it's getting in the way and slightly dangerous, I got it trapped in something yesterday :( OH can do a serviceable bob which will have to do until I've squirreled enough money away to brave a hairdressers. Another plus, my lips are starting to look much better yay!
If you had a bad day yesterday, I hope you all have a better day today
