Popped in again later during our walk when hubby came home from work. He spent quite a bit of time eyeing up the booze aisle in readiness for our stock-up at the weekend. I can't remember what beers were there except it was under a quid for a bottle of Banks's. Most beers about £1.25 a bottle. Quite a few different wines from £3 upwards to get round to trying out, as well as some ciders I've never seen before
The 'Sweet Chilli ' chicken portions I got for tea were really tasty, infact considering cooking the second pack to go with my ciders later (Greedy I know, and hubby would be
, but they were soooo lovely ). Saving all my pennies now for when I drive down to do a proper shop. Some nice tasty looking stuff in the fridge section ( including the £1.59 extra mature cheddar which is going down a bit
too well )
Not so crowded when I went back about 5pm-ish , and a few spaces left on the carpark at that time.
Quite a few people walking from there with a few carrier bags full, so looks like the Wildwood Co-op maybe losing quite a few local customers.
