Also twixt Stone and Eccleshall. But not so much whilst the roadworks have been ongoing.Does anyone know who 'The Walking Woman' is or why she is seen regularly walking into Stafford from out Eccleshall way somewhere?
Perhaps she likes to walk ?
Is there anything particularly interesting about her other than a person who walks a lot ?
Is walking such a rare thing nowadays ?
There can't be much for kids to do where you live, I'd imagine.Nothing more interesting than she walks into Stafford regularly (several times a week) from a distance and along roads that most people would catch a bus or drive, that makes her unusual so much so that when she walked past our house the other day the kids leapt out of their seats to watch her walk by!
more people should be like her imho!
She lives in Eccleshall. When ever you offer her a lift to her destination, she always politely declines, says she enjoys the walk. Nice lady.Does anyone know who 'The Walking Woman' is or why she is seen regularly walking into Stafford from out Eccleshall way somewhere?
Neither short nor tall - longish blonde hair. What does "The Walking Woman" look like? I think I may know who you're referring to ...
I had a horrible thought from the title of the thread that it was me But not me walking along Eccleshall way. I'm the one stomping backwards and forwards from Wildwood to town .Perhaps she likes to walk ?

I call her the trudging woman as she is often seriously weighed down with shopping. She broke her hip a few years ago I think but she still trudges on and good for her.Not the lady that I'm thinking of then. I thought it may be the one I've seen walk towards Cannock along the grass verges of the A34.
