Riverside shopping centre on hold?

It's worth remembering there is a large amount of housing in walking distance that probably currently drive elsewhere to go shopping.

It may be a brisk walk but i can tell you its around 3 and a half hours if you roll. Thats how long a mate of mine took to roll along walls and benches from the tavern to rowley street. Im presuming he rolled across the roads also.

I have to say this is by far the most boring document I've ever read and it, literally, had me dropping off. That might be why I couldn't find the significance of it in relation to this thread.

Perhaps somebody with a higher boredom threshold will do better than me?

Provide the link please.

Link not necessary. All you need do is search for 'accounts' on the staffordbc.gov site to find nuggets of interesting info, such as

If you think that's by far the most boring document you've ever read you should spend more time on the council's website, which is a guaranteed cure for insomnia. The relevance to a thread about shopping is that it's about shopping.

It is and no thanks.

Does it have to do with Riverside then? If so, perhaps you'd be kind enough to narrow it down to a particular page?

The two last items on the agenda, 4b(ii) and its appendix, showing that the council is aware of the negative effect on the rest of the town centre.

New Look, Miletts and M&S moving from the main st, Vision Express, JD Sport and Clarks from the Guildhall, and Sainsburys taking over Argos, what will be left at that end of town? Poundland, 20 charity shops and Morrisons Atlantis?
