Like the underground car park as well, bright, big spaces, not tight like some & only £1.00 for the first hour, cheaper than riverside.forgot today, was going to walk through it, to look at bus times at Gaol square

Hmm I guess so. I shop a lot in the Merry Hill and Liverpool stores and they have quite big home sections, but thinking about other stores they are small.Home section is disappointing but as Wormella says not unusual for m&s
Saw people there when I drove past at 7.30, and town actually seems busy for a Tuesday evening. Am I allowed to suggest this is a positive thing for Stafford?
I worry for society when someone can't be bothered to stand on an escalator - hardly the greatest effort you could make.
The Home section in the Wolstanton store is much much bigger & better....Home section is disappointing but as Wormella says not unusual for m&s
i thought m&s had a lift ?Rather a mean comment there by whoever you are. I was comparing the ease of just wandering into the old Cafe rather than having to use the escalator to another floor. Not everyone is in good health you know, I have had 2 Knee Replacement, and find walking difficult.
Lift and escalator. My mum, who's in her late 80s and has had a double hip replacement fairly recently loves the new café, particularly the fact it's so big you can always find a table (unlike the old one). The escalator might be a problem for her so she uses the lift. Simples.i thought m&s had a lift ?
isn't that on a retail park? It's going to be. You're not going to bother selling big bits of furniture in a store where most people will walk to it.The Home section in the Wolstanton store is much much bigger & better....
I haven't been up to look at the home ware section yet; was saving that as a treat for another day. Is it really small? I like looking at things like cushions, mugs, dishes etc so if they have any stuff like that I'll be delirious with happiness.
Its on the same retail park as the 24hr Drive-thru Starbucksisn't that on a retail park? It's going to be. You're not going to bother selling big bits of furniture in a store where most people will walk to it.
Have you not been to take a look yourself?...but the river, have they made the most of the river?
Views?
I would expect M & S to deliver large items of furniture to my home rather than cram a 3 piece suite into a Ford Ka!
No, no you get me all wrong, I would rather fold my king size pocket sprung mattress in half & ram it in the car than pay the £20 delivery .....Awkward customer alert!
Ah, nowt wrong with a bit of frugality. No, no you get me all wrong, I would rather fold my king size pocket sprung mattress in half & ram it in the car than pay the £20 delivery .....
I was going to shove it out of a loo window & float it down river to Sainsburys car park - it is after all, the ONLY place to park on this side of Stafford !Ah, nowt wrong with a bit of frugality.
But wouldn't taking the lift up to the home ware section be too difficult?
Just to check, you were planning to pay for it first weren't you ?I was going to shove it out of a loo window & float it down river to Sainsburys car park - it is after all, the ONLY place to park on this side of Stafford !
