Like the underground car park as well, bright, big spaces, not tight like some & only £1.00 for the first hour, cheaper than riverside.

Hmm I guess so. I shop a lot in the Merry Hill and Liverpool stores and they have quite big home sections, but thinking about other stores they are small.

yes you're right it is a positive thing I think a lot of people are parking in the multi storey across the bridge, I've been to the underground carpark several times and it's just been very quiet and easy to park, but the quietness hasn't effected how busy MnS has been.

Rather a mean comment there by whoever you are. I was comparing the ease of just wandering into the old Cafe rather than having to use the escalator to another floor. Not everyone is in good health you know, I have had 2 Knee Replacement, and find walking difficult.

Lift and escalator. My mum, who's in her late 80s and has had a double hip replacement fairly recently loves the new café, particularly the fact it's so big you can always find a table (unlike the old one). The escalator might be a problem for her so she uses the lift. Simples.

isn't that on a retail park? It's going to be. You're not going to bother selling big bits of furniture in a store where most people will walk to it.

I haven't been up to look at the home ware section yet; was saving that as a treat for another day. Is it really small? I like looking at things like cushions, mugs, dishes etc so if they have any stuff like that I'll be delirious with happiness.

To be fair, I would expect M & S to deliver large items of furniture to my home rather than cram a 3 piece suite into a Ford Ka!

No, no you get me all wrong, I would rather fold my king size pocket sprung mattress in half & ram it in the car than pay the £20 delivery .....Awkward customer alert!

I was going to shove it out of a loo window & float it down river to Sainsburys car park - it is after all, the ONLY place to park on this side of Stafford !
