Blame has to be passed to the 29% who didn't bloody vote in the first place.....

Enjoying a drop of red.
Whilst I like Jeremy as a person, when the best you can say about your MP is that he's slightly better than the one before (let us not forget David Kidney getting all wound up about our hospital failing to meet its recycling targets at the time when hundreds were dying or being mistreated and refusing to engage AT ALL with those trying to bring things to public attention), then he's on a sticky wicket.

He needs to be less timid and say publicly what he says very forcefully in private.

Or else he needs to bugger off and let someone else do the job.

Actually, i've just seen how old this thread is, there is no announcement.

What was the announcement back in Jan16?

In case you missed it, I think this might have been his announcement:

"The silly Con chip inside my head
Gets switched to overload
And nobody's gonna go to A&E today
I'm going to send them all to Stoke

And Stafford cannot have it
Despite my promises of old
And you can see no reasons 'cause there are no reasons
What reasons do you need to be shown?

(Tell me why) I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why) I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why) I don't like Mondays
I wanna shoot

The whole town down
!"

It was this -

http://www.staffs.ac.uk/news/staffo...-site-to-be-sold-for-education-tcm4288535.jsp

Jeremy Lefroy, MP said: "I am very supportive of the site being used for educational purposes. Stafford is increasingly becoming a town that welcomes international partners and clearly the UK is very keen on closer ties with China. I’m aware of concerns over the closure of Beaconside Sports Centre on the site but look forward to working with the investor to benefit the public of Stafford."

Thinking of further editing that first line to "The silly Con chip inside my head". Why not.
