Robert Vaughn; one of my all time favourite actors. News of his passing has filled me with the same sense of loss as I felt the day Eric Morecambe died.

R.I.P. and thanks!
I still have my U.N.C.L.E. card and await the call.

Ta :) (Trying hard to talk hubby out of his idea to shop there for a change.. Only popped in a few times in the past and I hate the place! )
Somebody must know how it works (if it still does) - I think it's something like two bits of paper from the machine, leave one in the car and take the other to the till after a minimum spend, then get it knocked off the total.

You can get up to two hours free, the machine gives a ticket for the car and another to hand in at the till.
Just remember to put the right ticket on the car, Sainsburys will not refund a parking ticket, strangely.

You may or may not be right. By the time I find out I'll be beyond caring.

However, I'll please myself what word I choose to describe the process of moving from life to eternal oblivion, if that's all the same with you.

The Sainsburys in Stafford is rubbish but the one in Cannock is fantastic.

Free parking, no faffing about with tickets.
Large, bright, lots of choice.
A huge clothing section where they have changing rooms (unlike Stafford).

Great booze section too.

It's usually quicker to get to the one in Cannock too, for those of us who live down sarf.

The Sainsburys in Stafford is rubbish.

It might be, but it's 2-3 minutes walk from my house, I don't have to drive there, thus using petrol, wear n tear or losing my parking space round here. I put a complaint in when they got rid of the changing rooms, the manager apologised to me, but said it was out of his hands.
