Wondering....do you have to pay to park in Sainsburys carpark if you shop there?
If you park directly in front of the Sainsburys store you will receive a parking ticket with a voucher attached. If you spend £5.00 or more in Sainsburys present your ticket when you pay for your shopping & the checkout operator can either take the parking off the bill or give you the cash back in your hand (up to the value of £1.50 - 2 hrs parking). If you park in the long stay car park to the side of Sainsburys they cannot refund your parking, do not leave your car without a ticket as you will almost certainly receive a large fine.

However, parking is free on Sundays, & after 6pm (I 'think' its also free before 8am, maybe.... )

This is the end of my public service announcement.

Decided to abandon all ideas of Sainsburys this week, choosing to spend the coupons we received through the letterbox for Rising Brook Co-op whilst passing that way anyway (shopping wisely for the special offers on things we would have bought anyway, alongside the money off coupons.......bargain!)

Got served by a most stroppy female at the tills, who didn't seem to want to be working there at all, arguing "That's what the till says, so that's what you have to pay!" As usual the offers went through the till wrong. The money off coupon came off ok. But beware if you have any co-op vouchers ! 'Free box of mince pies' voucher when swiped resulted in money added onto the bill instead!
Manager eventually called and problem sorted with no hassle from him.

..2-3 minutes? Time enough to scoff a bar of galaxy on the way home....
When we lived up on Crab Lane, the shop was even closer. I can get thru a mars bar in under a minute, and not have any trace of it anywhere. My kids could sniff out chocolate at 100 paces, so you had be quick.

Spent the weekend in Cirencester in my motorhome. Pleasant but for some reason my dog took a dislike to it.
