Going to be a bit cool in February. But will still be lovely. If you've got a fire in the cottage and a warm pub nearby all will be well.

Cat caught mouse ran into lounge with it last night about 7.30, oh chased after cat as he ran towards door with mouse, oh opened door hoping cat would run out....he did but not before dropping mouse in utility room, who then ran under the washing machine, then between the dishwasher ,washing machine and freezer. All appliances out located mouse under freezer, move freezer left mouse goes right (this kept happening for a while) eventually mouse makes run for it oh grabs it, just about to put it though door it leaps out his hand and went back under the freezer, it's now 8.20ish. After a few more chess moves with the freezer, mouse is caught with a plastic box.....Yay!....oh takes mouse puts him under hedge by tree, comes inside, cat swoops passed him outside cat flap straight under hedge and catches mouse.....Now no mouse!

Just been fighting a losing battle with the water flowing down our driveway from the street, trying to sweep the ankle deep water in the garage back out again.

Ahh the joys of family! When a family drama starts because your OH didn't say Happy Birthday to his Sister according to the timetable her husband thought appropriate so he sends rather a nasty message to your OH. The OH doesn't take too kindly to said message so basically tells his b-I-l to F off. The situation is on going. I'm in hiding.

My brother is a lying, cheating, stealing manipulative rat so when he left Facebook it was no great loss. Funny enough, we aren't close anymore either lol. I'm more bemused than anything about my s-I-l. I am however dreading the phone going later when my m-I-l inevitably rings to '*sort it all out'
Anyway, my main job today is to learn a particular crotchet stitch so I can get started on the scarf I want to make my daughter, preferably before summer lol
*probably have a go and gets told to F off and gets hung up upon by my OH

I have my big sisters post hidden on there, she's still on my friends list, but she's such an attention whore, I don't read owt she puts up anymore. I have her middle childs stuff hidden for the same reason.

I'm in the 'Bad Books'..... I agree to let the child take part in Poppy Collection, Rememberance Day Parade, extra Lancers (marching band) practice & then a weekend away at camp with Air Cadets while she had a cough..... only it turns out that child has a chest infection & ear infection and a fever to top it off, plus I'm even more in the bad books for having to go to work & leave her at home whilst shes poorly
