All being well I pick up a car today. After years of being on a train after a change in jobs, same company different role, the train was no longer practical. The car hopefully will give me a little more freedom.

I mowed the lawn today, for the first time this year.

I'm beginning to think of it as one of those "events" that mark the passage of time; the beginning of the warmer weather of Spring and Summer. (Similarly the day I get my summer clothes from the loft, and pack away my winter clothes .... but we're at least a month away from that at the moment.)
