That is one of the best we've had on here - in plain public view and in place for the whole of living memory - but rarely noticed.

That building was a hotel at one point - there was a large fire in the early 1970s (I think) - it lost the top storey as a result, and gained a flat roof over the remaining floors.

I assume the clock has been there for yonks? I can't imagine why a bed salesroom would erect a clock on the outside wall?

Yeah, but I've never noticed the stone - I used to cycle those roads a lot at one time, apart from Whitgreave Lane.

If it's at the crash site, it should be somewhere along there, or off it..

I know the Perrin one; I walk passed it quite regularly. I don't recognise this one but, if I had to guess, maybe its on the new Redhill Business Park?
I reconnoitred the Perrin one on foot for the other post - I don't recall seeing another stone.

Right - it's presumably in/by the woodland off Harry Kerr Drive in the Redhill Business Park?

There is supposed to be a bit of Street View - but it takes me onto the M6...

yes, its part of a circular walk which goes through the wood then carries on round to a boardwalk over a marsh area.
