Whilst in town yesterday we popped around the market down by Cash Converters, lovely stalls, some great produce.

There was this stall full of tall cakes, and they were decorated on top with various sweet items, Jane rings, rolos etc... Anyway one locals came over to have a look and just took one of the decorations off the cake and proceeded to eat it!

The wife and I had to double check what had actually happened as the stall holder explain to the eejit that they were part of the cake.....

For a moment I thought I was back in Stoke....

My dog at the top of the stairs saying
“Will you two stop messing about down there, climb the hills to Bedfordshire, it’s wayyyyy past my bedtime”

A pink farty Fiat 500 parked up outside Pets at Home, it was covered in black cat stickers! The lady who ownes it came back as myself and youngest were looking at it. She'd had the stickers put on by the garage she purchased the car from. It was bostin! All she needs now is loads of tiny paw prints on the bonnet and it will be cat-tastic!!

Today I saw that Gregg's are selling gift cards.

I know gift cards are an easy opt out of buying the right gift if you don't know what people want but who would want a Gregg's one?

Imagine your disappointment if someone sent you one!!

I know I joked about these previously but today I saw two teenagers handing out two Gregg's gift cards to a couple of homeless guys sleeping rough in a doorway in Southampton High Street.

Might prevent someone driving over the limit if they are unaware how long alcohol lingers in your system......

Thanks for the heads up. Basic sum is volume in mL X abv X number of drinks plus 1 hour.

A couple of things to note. I would have thought the police would have emphasized the plus 1 hour and also that everyone's metabolism is different so the times may vary.

I wonder whether you could escape a prosecution if your body took longer to clear alcohol but you were driving based on the police figures and expecting to be under the limit.

In general, no, the offence is the level of alcohol in you - although 'special people' may get exemptions, of course.

There is someone out there still driving (legally) with 62 points on his licence, etc...
