Words spreading of your bird hospitality, you're going to wake up to a scene from 'The Birds' one day...I've had one of the Blackbirds round for scones.
As a caring host, I asked him if he wanted the cream or the jam on top - "Don't give a guano, Mate. I just want it here - now!"

Brings back memories of the Seagulls on Llandudno pier swooping down at me and one flying off with the expensive ice-cream cone I'd just splashed out on and actually had in my mouth at the time.Words spreading of your bird hospitality, you're going to wake up to a scene from 'The Birds' one day...
There will be a massive boom of frogs with all this rain....I swear one in our garden was eating a frogs leg the other day!

I think that frog might be a toad. There will be a massive boom of frogs with all this rain....
Does anyone remember in the very late 90's, early 2000's there was a massive 'plague' of frogs everywhere... I remember picking up my kids after work from Tillington school, from Eccleshall Rd, down Holmcroft Rd, Stone Rd and all the streets around the Common were absolutely covered in frogs..... It was hard to walk home without stepping on them.
When we did get home the frogs seemed to be throwing themselves at the front and back doors trying to get in.
I'm sure it was around the same time that the frog signage appeared on Eccleshall Rd....
Whatever they were, they were scary....
