I've given in, we're having pizza tomorrow. I've had 2 lovely long weeks off work, cooked almost every evening, I need a night off.I prefer yours, to mine....
Oooh I like the sound of that, I think the youngest might eat it. Not too sure. This was tea for last night:

Delicious! I didn't put it on a skewer - far too much faff! Just mixed it up, marinaded overnight and bunged it in the oven!
Be warned - it STINKS the whole house out!
Dukkha is pain, unhappiness, a general feeling of disappointment with life.I also didn't add 'dukkha' as far as I'm aware it's a type of Islamic prayer...
Eat it or go hungry!!!
I used do that, for the kids at least. I knew then that they were all fed. Ex would eat owt put in front of him.THIS!!
I know someone who has four kids and a picky husband - she ends up cooking five different meals to keep everyone happy (and I mean five completely different not just one with extras / removed bits)
It's complete madness - I certainly wouldn't put up with that!

Goes back to being a child myself, I quite often went to bed hungry, because there wasn't much on the plate or if we'd pulled a face at sumat, Dads fork would shoot across faster than Ussain Bolt on speed. Money was seriously tight and Mum didn't have much work with.
I always said, there's no way any of my kids would ever know that feeling.
I love mash!My mum has a very, shall we say 'plain' palette...
I grew up with:
Mash and fish fingers
Mash and pork chops
Mash and chicken
Mash and peas
You get the gist...
At 18 I was a seriously fussy eater, I'd never tried curry or eaten food with any spice or seasoning. I wouldn't eat even basic things like onions or garlic. I have no idea how I survived!
My very patient husband encouraged me to try more foods and now I'll eat almost anything (bar cauliflower - yuk!!)
Me too. I think we had it a bit too often tho, youngest asked if we could maybe have rice with stuff, cos he he was getting sick n tired of potatoes all the time.I love mash!
I love mash!
I love Red Thai curry, but not green. I can NOT stand Fresh corriander, I'm ok if there's only ground or powdered corriander, but most green Thai pastes seem to contain a huge amount of leaves.Love Thai curry, too hot for Mrs T.
