welcome back!A mundane fact about my day?
Well, I randomly decided to log on to this website I used a frequent some time ago (but haven't visited since 2017....oops) known as 'Stafford Forum' - I like it, I still see some familiar names but it looks shinier than I remember!
Although I am, sadly, no longer a true Staffordian - I have escaped to a strange and mysterious land known as 'Stone' - this is what happens when you go exploring past the town boundary line.....
So, Hi (again)!
Why thank you!welcome back!
Me, this morning...late for workDecided it's time to put my shorts away after having to get the car scraper out.... just went out to wipe off what I thought was condensation all over the car and it's completely covered in the ice.
Hate the winter time time. Roll on summer...
I could hear them here.Idiots a few doors away setting off fireworks for nearly 2 hours.... Think the whole of Stafford heard them
Like I said, whole of Stafford could hear themI could hear them here.
Someone drowned in Lake Sandon ?On a whim, I've just looked up the MOT history of a friend's old Morris Minor. He died twenty years ago and I just wondered if the car had soldiered on this far.
It's still registered, but the last MOT ran out as Covid started, so there's hope for it to return yet.
The government webite helpfully suggested that I might "contact your local MORRIS dealership" for any recall that might be in force.
I'll call in at Charles Clarke, next time I'm passing.
In other news, two cop cars have just gone townwards on Sandon Road, at a truly immense speed. Followed a couple of minutes later by an ambulance in a reasonable hurry.
Edit, two more ambulances now...
It was dryish this morning.Someone drowned in Lake Sandon ?
Yes, we 'tested' the heating today...Given in, put the heating on - just to try it mind.
And the electric blanket is being tested too. My poor tootsies were frozen this morning, didn't warm up all the time I was asleep either.
Glad you said that. I was frozen walking to zumba earlier . Car was frozen over. Frozen all through the class, Yet someone reckoned they were hot & opened the fire exit doors.Given in, put the heating on - just to try it mind.
