However looking at their website it is going to be one of their "traditional" pubs, not one of their Lloyd's Bars.
Yes, does look to be the case now. I had originally heard that it was going to be the Lloyds No.1 format which is a shame as Stafford could do with a little more variety in the Sky Sports department...!
They were going to turn Chicago Rock into a Lloyds Bar but for what ever reasons those plans fell through.
Nandos maybe waiting for the results of the planning application for the riverside site........

Normal spoons without Sky Sports will do just nicely......

Well we have, but Litten Tree have since been sold to a new firm who are closing all the Litten Tree's and transforming them into Yates - so either way we'll be getting a Yates soon.

Some of you will remember Yates in the good old days. Actually did not sell beer but various wines. Usually South African. Dark and scary places.

The old Yates wine lodge sucked, very dark place and wasn't there a lot of problems with the food there?
We are talking circa 1970 no food standing only. Birmingham or Manchester. I think there was one in Dudley

Just been pleasantly surprised to find our local Freedom Brewery's lagers on draught in the Poste of Stone (Four and Pilsner) - would be great if that's on the beer menu at the Butlers Bell! Not sure whether it's a one off or a permanent fixture.

Freedom Four is a gorgeous pint - gives a good Real Ale a run for its money. I know you can get it in The Swan in Stafford but not come across it anywhere else as yet...
