I often see a lady in a red jacket out that way, that isn't you is it flossietoo?

If you are all cycling through Church Eaton perhaps I need to start selling tea and cake!

Well my cleats broke once I'd got to the top of Mam Tor, so only 40 miles for me. The first mile took 10 minutes it was that steep, and it didn't get much better all day.

It's a bugger of an ascent, Edale up Mam Tor, on foot or velo .....

I cycled up further than I expected, and managed to get on again near the top, but it wasn't fun.

So near but yet so far.

You missed Bednall, the village that lives on cake.

If you come though on Next Sat 26th in the morning from 10.00am when we have our village tidy up, you will be guaranteed some coffee and cake.

You don't have to help, we just love giving out coffee and cake to visitors...
