You tilities if you want to, the lady's not for turnilities.

Utilities = things like water & gas & stuff that makes things work
Facilities = (more often than not) euphemism for shitter

These are two different things.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Your forward thinking Conservative County Council ( you know the one, the one that shuts down buildings that it can't sell off ) has just employed some outside consultants to 'redesign' space for the next home for our library [ version5.2 ]

Worth a bet on how long this one will last

Trebles all Round!!
That's quite amazing and I bet it's really good value for money as well.

152% would do nicely.

SBC's recent library policy has been to get rid of any books cluttering the place up, which seems a bit radical.

Wonder how much ID will be required to enter the building, and will be a hardhats only area?

There are many more to come with entire sections being outsourced to external providers - plenty of cabinet papers visible in public domain around the back office services.

Time will tell if it saves money or not in the long run, but the number of staff actually employed in Staffordshire is dropping massively as work moves to Birmingham, Kent, Sheffield and possibly Japan...

I'm waiting to be told that I'm formally at risk so redundancy consultation can begin, along with many more staff, with lots already in the camp.

The external consultants will keep the services running, so no worries.
