Recent bite to eat at The Bear Grill.

I had the Bombay Bad Bear and my life what a burger, could this be the best vegan burger in Stafford!
The other two burgers in the pic are Mexicans.

I've asked and i hope Chris Lewis and team transfers the BBB to another of the Lewis Partnership's establishments, it'll be a shame to lose such a monster of a burger when The Bear closes.

I had the bombay bad Bear last night! TBH it's my first time in The Bear and I was impressed with everything bar my burger! I just wasn't a fan. Would go back, but will try another menu item next time!

Also, if anyone is Vegan and goes to try a burger, most of the Vegan burgers also come in Vegetarian options as well, so be sure to specify vegan.

I couldn't see any Vegan puddings on the menu, and we asked the waitress who said she'd find out if there were any. i think she forgot as she never returned, but no matter as we were full anyway!

Just sayin'

God forbid the French, or anyone for that matter, knew what was in their food, beyond the name of a product.
Christ on a bike burger.

I'm pretty sure they are aware, but don't care. They have the same food labelling laws that we have, or at least that we currently have. Who knows once we leave the EU, wonder if they'll insist that chlorinated chicken is labelled as such?

As for the rest of it, can't see the issue. It isn't bacon, it's single cell biomass made to look like bacon. Call it bacon flavour if it tastes like it, but why call it bacon if it isn't?

I found out yesterday from a vegan co-worker that Bisto is not made with meat... I felt ripped off.

Bisto is one thing I do buy in normally for us, and not just when sons vegan girlfriend comes visiting. I always used to think it was made with beef, and was surprised when I started reading labels looking for vegan friendly food.

Just found a good restaurant in Worcester which we fancied trying with son and girlfriend next week, but we couldn't see any vegan meals on the menu. Gave them a call to see if they do actually cater for vegans, and they offered to cook something specially for her, if we let them know beforehand the sort of thing she likes to eat and they will rustle something up especially for her. :)
