Chaos in Stone. Grt Bridgeford to Cresswell and Woodseaves flooded. Funny if all the cars in new rugga club were cut off.

I saw it posted somewhere(can't remember where it was) on Sunday saying the barriers were up and letting people onto one of those carparks , basement flooded, and chaos as no spaces but people still piling in.Nobody mentioned that the Waterside Carpark under M & S had been flooded. I was there today it was being worked manually as the barriers and machines were out of order and the lifts out of order with flooded cess, the walls had a tide mark! Also a noticeable stink.

The same idea was planned some years ago when they were going to put a multi on kingsmeadI think the carpark was designed to be flooded to protect the surrounding area.

I think there's ample evidence over the past many years that that is, in fact, the case. They may also just do it for shits and giggles
A prime example. The fun thing about public tenders is everything is split up as much as possible.
Which is why Queensway is a mess of cones right now. Even though they probably won’t get it to it for a few days they’ve closed off a lane all the way from Kingsmead to the Asda lights opposite the loading bay for Riverside. It would make a lot more sense and be far less disruptive to cone in sections but a separate company probably does the cones... so it’s just done all in one go
Of course that’s just my interpretation. They may also just do it for shits and giggles
