Enjoying a drop of red.
So is the chase worth a 10-15 minute drive for a socially distance workout. I've been staying close to home but would like to pass as few people as possible whilst exercising.
You're ok in the week but if it's dry and sunny of a weekend I'd give it a miss.

Anyone else obsessively refreshing Major Tom's page to see if he gets to £10 million?

Make of this what you will ....

The graph below is the 7-Point Moving Average of UK deaths in hospital due to coronavirus. It's calculated by adding up a day's number of deaths to the number of deaths 3 days before and after it, and dividing by 7. So the latest figure is centred on April 13th, though it does take into account today's figure (April 16th) and figures from April 10th. It's done this way to smooth out randomness and the vagaries of the reporting cycle, like weekends and, last week, the Bank Holiday. (The "raw" figures are shown in the Spoiler.) As I say, make of it what you will.

ETA I should just mention that the figure I put in for March 25th (I think) is an estimate. They changed the reporting period on that day to just 8 hours, though an especially busy 8 hours it seems. The figure I put in is in line with the graph in the Spoiler.

So have been any actual cases in Stafford itself (well and the suburbs I guess). I do searches and find little other than for the Stafford's of the USA.

You may or may not know that I work in a Supermarket so I'm still mixing with a lot of people... I've spoken to numerous people who have relatives that have had and are recovering from it (in the Stafford and Manchester areas) , but only 1 lady that has had it herself, she's a stafford local, in her 70's, and has recovered... It was really heartwarming to hear of people getting better...

I can't say an awful lot, even if I'm not naming anyone, but I believe there's been some confirmed cases at St.Georges. If a patient tests positive, they are moved to an isolation ward, worse case scenario, they get sent up the County or Stoke.

Probably because most people aren't being tested. I know at least 4 people who believe they've had it, but it's just that without the test.
