Scrambled eggs, porridge and 'grilled' tomatoes.I honestly can't think what I'd use it for?!?
Just cut them in half and zap on a plate - poached, rather than grilled, perhaps - hence the 'grilled'.Grilled tomatoes? How do you do that?
Apparently his car needs a run, so takeaway curry for us tonight.
Microwaved scrambled eggs are the best.Scrambled eggs, porridge and 'grilled' tomatoes.
Things that are actually better done in a microwave.
Also, ideal for mulled wine, soup, cocoa, etc - reducing the washing-up issue.
We didn't have one for the most of last year and I can't say I missed it, bought a new one a few months ago, so far I've used it to re-heat my stone cold forgotten coffee and minime has cooked noodles in it.Blimey, I thought everyone had a microwave.
I couldn’t manage without mine.
We use it for loads of things.
Reheating yesterday’s leftovers, making porridge, defrosting things quickly, cooking things that have been cooked then frozen (batch cooking).
I also cook loads of vegetables in the microwave rather than boiling the hell out of them, it’s a bit like steaming. Things such as peas, broccoli etc.
I even cook eggs in mine. A egg comes out similar to poached (but without the mess) in 60 seconds.
And of course, absolutely delicious baked potatoes!,
I didn't have one for forty years once - apart from seeing a demonstration in 1970 illustrating why you shouldn't hang around in front of a radar installation. We didn't have one for the most of last year and I can't say I missed it, bought a new one a few months ago, so far I've used it to re-heat my stone cold forgotten coffee and minime has cooked noodles in it.
I mostly use it to hide food in.
My seven year old loves Spam / luncheon meat. We had a Sunday roast lunch so probably fried Spam with soupy noodles for his tea.Got any spam?
