The whole area is now flattened with house and garage all gone, so lets see if it assists with that whole area being exposed to the next snowfall next week, with it having no shelter.
Additionally, never heard any more about the large area that was cleared a long time ago. Wasn't that supposed to be a Dawkes yard?

If I had the money I would buy that plot of cleared land and plant a mini urban forest.

I love that idea.
It's a dream of mine, to buy a small holding somewhere, (around here not miles away) and just plant a load of trees in a couple of fields. Let them just go wild. Think of the wildlife, birds etc it would attract. And have a couple of fields for wild flowers.

and maybe an area set aside should some dodgy traveller roll up and need to park his caravan for the night.....

Personally I think they should build a big RBMK nuclear reactor there based on the original Chernobyl design. That way not only would it be carbon neutral, but you’d all have a bit of extra excitement in your environment. :P

A nuclear explosion in Stafford would be seen as an improvement, the zombies walking around town would now feel at home in an apocalypse.

Let us not forget Stoke was used as an actual apocalyptic setting for a zombie film, with minimal set dressing so I’m told
