Cool :D Found this on a random searching, thought I'd add mine:

I met Robert Plant at a craft centre in Wales - awesome :D

Also met all the members of Barenaked Ladies but that wasn't really unexpected or unusual - they always come out after gigs to meet fans.

Also grabbed (not literally!) Paddy Ashdown at the 1992 election campaign on his home territory in Ilminster, Somerset, to quiz him to see if he was gonna do a deal with the tories in the event of an hung parliament, he reassured me that he would not (something he had not clearly stated during the campaign, which is why I asked) and did not notice the T.V cameras around me. That night clips of me and Paddy Pantsdown were shown on the Beeb.
Where were you when we needed you this time?

I met Biff Byford - lead singer of Saxon in Ritz videos in Boston, Lincolnshire several times when I worked there.
Bumped into Nick Hancock out shopping in Newcastle under Lyme once.
Saw Lee Stafford (or rather ogled over Lee Stafford) at the clothes show live yesterday - wasnt expecting him to be there although we did see several other famous people who we did expect to see.

I remember stalking Roger Black around Sainsburys in town when I worked there, along with every other female that worked there. He bought drinking yoghurt. This was a few years ago.
Also in Sainsburys, Sue Nicholls went through my till. But I didn't watch Coronation Street so I didn't know what all the fuss was about. This was also a few years back.

I once saw lizo nazimba (sp?) - he used to present newsround on CBBC and I think went on to "adult" news on the BBC - on the underground in London. We'd just arrived in the capital, my first visit when I was old enough to remember and he was there waiting for a train. Didn't see any other famous people on that visit though.

I used to interview rock bands so have met quite a few through that, my favourite was interviewing The Darkness in their dressing room when they were supporting Alice Cooper.

Ooh and the girl who starred in "the queens nose" (cbbc programme) did work experience at my primary school when I was there.

Many, many years ago on a flight to the far-east at a stop at Anchorage Airport (and after 10 hours of in flight drinking). was talking to a 'familiar face' in the Airport Bar, commenting on the fact that I hadn't seen him in the Nags Head for ages. Discovered as we arrived in Japan and all the photographers flashlights went off, it was Bjorn Borg!! How pi**ed was I!

I used to work at the Blackpool town hall and met Katrina from Katrina and the Waves when they were doing the Illuminations switch on. She was lovely but I also met Michael Ball the same night and i've never met a more slimy supercillious little prick in my life.

I sat opposite Enoch Powell once on a train from Euston ( first class )

He pretended to be asleep when I started asking him about his song, rivers of Babylon

I may have been drunk

I can confirm that that is the former Mr Minnelli ( right )

The girl with her arms crossed is his publicist, Sian. Or maybe it's a type of parrot
Hmmm I wonder what he was doing in Stafford! I always thought it was a random bloke pretending to be David Guest.

I danced with Rick Wakeman at a fundraiser for a football club somewhere near Camberley. Also Mike Hooper, former goalkeeper with Bristol City and Liverpool, once drunkenly recited bits from The Owl & The Nightingale to me while balancing slightly precariously on a bar stool.

I had a glass of squash with Amy Turtle and stood on the toe of Tom Coin. Both (in different years) at the summer fete of a special school in the Potteries.

Oh - and on a plane to Manchester I was one row in front of that man who does the shouty programme in the mornings. He was disconcertingly attractive.

I once met and got the autograph of the lead singer of The Adicts at my first gig in 1983. I'm sure you have heard of them, responsible for such songs like "My baby got run over by a steamroller" and "Viva la Revolution". It certainly helped to have an attractive former bunny girl as a second cousin back then.

A couple of years later, I was loitering with some other yoofs on the bench pictured below.

We spotted a very attractive brunette girl entering and leaving the very expensive house pictured several times and would admire her at a distance.

It's only in recent years I've discovered she was Belinda Stewart-Wilson, aka Will's mum from Inbetweeners.
