From an outsider but resident for 16 years:
1. Isobel Trail / Marshes / Victoria Park / Rowley Park. Gives the place a "real town and country" vibe. There's no shortage of stuff to do outdoors either.
2. Stafford Balti. The carrying of quality beers from the Coach and Horses across the road...
The "Top of Everest" scene in Dr Strange was made even more realistic by the climate inside the cinema. Maybe the environmental conditions could be marketed as a "feature" - 5D even?
I'd like "Son of Guitar and Son IV" - although having Eric in such close proximity to Joxters might result in some late openings/long lunches/early closures etc.
Yep - Simon confirmed this with me last week. I think he's had a noise abatement order which limits when he can have bands in. It will be much missed by us.

Getting silly all this. I thought they'd start to get in line with the lawful working hours. It appears they'll be wringing as much as they can from the remaining grace period. Utter caddery of the highest order.
Thanks! Yes I did. I emailed the enviro-health person last night. I thought my boiler was on it's last legs... then I went outside and noticed the noise was louder. We routinely have the windows open in the "Summer" - I shudder to think what that'll be like... if it gets that far.
