thanks to all for the info, i think i know where the shop is and doesn't he do unusual meats as well kangaroo, alligator, panda, ostrich etc ? now if some those could be sausagefied i'm sure our bangers & mash night will be a hit.....

A friend of mine lives in California and mentioned this place, I take it to be like Pizza Express, but with a more specialist menu...

They may not have a franchise over here - yet.

Can't help as Montserrat Caballe* once said, "I don't eat anything that has a face!".
This sounds definite, but when I was in hospital, Mrs Seed came to visit me just after tea one day. The remains of my meal, oxtail soup, followed by roast chicken, were still evident. "Have you just eaten that?" "Yes" said I. "You do remember your a vegetarian?!!". "Thats a shame, it was bloody nice that!!!!!!" said I.

*She was the big hen who did "Barcelona" with Freddie Mercury at the olympics opening ceremony.
