The plaster and wiring job is nasty but only the third one looks like it's of any danger - and only if the taped up wire is the live bit and not the inside of the junction box

It is the taped up wire, the junction box was from the light switch. Nearly got caught out by the two power feeds/consumer units, one (the good one) just runs upstairs left and the ceiling wire here while the other (old proper fuse wire thing) runs the shop and the upper right. I need to rip the wires out of that plug socket anyway, as they made them too short to go into trunking by about 2-3 feet as they were behind a false wall.

On the plus side I won't have to make anything good when I leave!

None has gone up yet, was hoping to do it one evening this week but lack of heating and my mums birthday probably means it'll be the weekend now.

(Bought our fire from there. Can see now why they quite happily fitted it with a gaping big hole in the flue behind it, which Ricky discovered and got sorted whilst doing it's first service.)

Thats odd! They are all in the same shared album, all shared in the same way, it's weird!

Its starting to look a lot better now we have the plasterboard up and a load of paint slapped on, but still lots to do. Concentrating on downstairs for now obviously, very back left is getting boarded out this week to split it from the rest of the premises and sublet upstairs as an office with a parking space - I guess that'll have to come next as rates won't be reduced without a tenant. Then its office/storage space upstairs right I guess which customers won't see so hopefully won't matter if I take a bit longer over.

EDIT: Downstairs has to be mostly ready by March 14th as we're getting the carpet fitted then!

I think both windows come in at a touch over 100w, each pane is 20w but there is another light that goes into the doorway too.

Must have got into them via son's Google account yesterday, as when I went to view the first ones today, it brought a box up to sign back into his account ( he must have left it open last time he was here, and I must have logged it out somehow...don't know his password now )

I'm really looking forward to this. I go to quite a few functions where I need to wear a long dress, in fact I had 3 new ones for our cruise in January.

My current favourite place for gowns is Celebrity in Cannock but I can't wait to come in and see this shop when it's finished and hopefully give you lots of business.

I can see some, and not others. I'm logged into google through my work account. Same on my phone logged in through my personal account.

I really don't understand google photos! I even made a brand new shared album called forum photos, and it still won't share some but will others (and it's the same photos that don't share). Can you still see them if you click the first link in the original post?

My OH is really looking forward to the change in direction, she's already a lot happier since deciding to move away from traditional bridal. This will be a change to the sort of thing she prefers to sell, things she's more interested in personally rather than just for work. I believe things like mother of the bride will still be covered, just not the actual wedding gowns.

That said she has over 50 wedding dresses still in stock she needs to shift, if anyone is getting married soon there are decent discounts if she happens to have your size!
