Advertising in Stafford - Distribute leaflets to Stafford homes

It's that time again. I'll soon be ready to do a leaflet drop to 5000 homes in the ST16 and ST17 postcode area's.

I'm charging just £200 to reach 5000 doormat's. That's just 4 pence per house!

For this sum of money, you get 5000 full colour A5 leaflets professionally printed onto 130gsm gloss, and delivered to homes in the Stafford area over a period estimated at 5 weeks (but allowing up to 2 months). This is NOT a reverse side deal like i've offered before - you will get your very own leaflet with a blank reverse.

The only rule is that I won't post anything closely relating to my own line of work (computer repairs and online storage/backup), and I will not post for 2 similarly related businesses.

You must provide your own PRINT READY artwork (preferably a high resolution PDF) and payment MUST be made at time of order.

MAXIMUM SLOTS AVAILABLE = 3 (carrying more than 4 leaflets is quite a chore)

The bulk of the cost is for the actual drop. £150 for 5000. Smaller quantities on request.
Unless you have access to a really cheap printers (as I do), then it would probably be better for you to keep your existing leaflets for your own distribution and pay the extra £50 here mentioned.

UPDATE - I'm hoping to get these leaflets distributed throughout June, so if anybody is considering this (great value) deal, then please get in touch with your design and payment by the end of the month (31/05/12).

In addition to the prices mentioned above, you can have 5000 double sided A5 leaflets (instead of one side only) for an additional £50.

Hi wmr, will keep your details on hand for some clients. Just wondering what you do if someone comes to you and asks for the design to be done? I have a good few years of experience and would be happy to give you a finders fee for anyone who needs design done. Would that be of any use to you?

I can happily point anyone your way that asks for design services, but everyone who has taken me up on this offer before has already had their own artwork ready for use. May consider you in the future though, as my own designs can be a little lacking

Due to having no confirmed responses to this, despite offering the service at a ridiculously low price, I am afraid I have decided to now withdraw the offer.

I've had time to consider the impact of 3 or 4 leaflets hitting the door mat at once, and for the smallest profit mark-up I was adding to the price it isn't worth detracting attention from my own leaflet.

Hi wmr. I'm afraid I'd missed this post before. I think you're right in what you're saying, people might just bin the lot if you're not careful. We've had pretty good success with leaflet drops in the past so probably well worth doing though. I wonder if there's any mileage in 'group' advertising for forum businesses and the forum as well in a newspaper advert or something. Could help all those small businesses that can't afford a decent ad by themselves to group together and get one big advert in association with Stafford Forum.

If the printing cost AND the footwork was equally shared by the services involved then it would become a very cheap way of reaching 5000 door mats - and also in a way that people would put it safe rather than bin it.
Early days, as I need to focus on my own planned leaflet at the moment (work is very quiet), but I will at some point start a new thread for this and we'll go from there once I've agreed some key points with Admin.

Indeed; it would be a great way to promote The Forum whilst advertising the services of those businesses who have really got stuck in and used The Forum as proper Forumites, rather than just an advertising platform.
