Hm. So as the Labour Party is tearing itself apart in public and probably Tories are tearing themselves apart in private what new political alliances will emerge? Nicola Sturgeon merges the SNP with the left wing of the Labour Party and becomes leader. The right of the Tory Party merges with UKIP and is led by Gove or IDS and the more centre sections of the Tory and Labour cosy up to the Lib Dems with Boris taking over as leader. What could be wrong with that?
You've omitted the leading role Britain First will play in restoring our nation to global greatness and harmony with our foreign friends.

What sickens me though is that various groups of people are being targeted and told "we voted out, go home".
I am able to inform you that Stafford is not immune to that sort of thing - not by a long way.

In other countries, it is normal to see informative signs about the funding arrangements of various projects - but, I doubt that would make a lot of difference.

And the National Front, who had a Fun Day in Newcastle upon Tyne today - or is the Nigel Farage's initials on there?

Or maybe people aren't explaining things properly or it's difficult to separate fact from all the BS that's been spouted !
People may need to make a bit of personal effort. It's not hard to spot that 'they' are liars - if that is unknown to you, then you probably shouldn't be voting.

e.g., I've had a bloke today tell me that he could go to France without a passport before we joined, but the EU stopped all that.

I expect that he is misremembering the old one-year visitor's passport - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_passport#The_British_visitor.27s_passport - but, I didn't like to suggest that he might want to join the Schengen area.

He may also have forgotten the hassle of trying to prove that you hadn't bought your watch or camera whilst on holiday...

I know it seems churlish to question the result, but an interesting thought experiment is to imagine the vote went the 'other' way, with the same margin.

Would Farage have accepted a 52:48 vote to Remain as the 'will of the People' and thrown in the towel?

I'm guessing not.

No - it would go on for ever. That's why we have had the second one.

That is the way of it - Leave is Leave. There is no need for another one as re-entry will almost certainly never be unanimously accepted*, as would be necessary. It took three goes to get in, because of concerns about compatibility.

Could try best of three.?

A Remain vote would result in an ongoing Leave campaign for ever, until there is a Leave vote.

* possibly why Article 50 has been so delayed after promising the early action that really is necessary for all concerned.

Can you furnish me with a reliable source that this was said by Wavy (goodbyee) Davey? Not a trick question, a genuine request?

I did look myself, fruitlessly, but i fear i was a bit lacklustre - i've a lot going on and this is not a good time for me...

Mr Cameron previously said he would trigger Article 50 as soon as possible after a Leave vote but Mr Johnson and Mr Gove, who led the campaign to get Britain out of the EU, have said he should not rush into it.

Lots of stuff seems to be disappearing - try the Leave website...

Anyway, the EU version is that confirming the result at the next meeting, this week, is when it will start anyway.
