Someone recommended some wine to me from aldi's which was supposed to be very good and also cheap. I took one mouthful and poured the rest down the sink.

You, and others, might only want to turn left - but, if the one at the front wants to turn right......
Mwahahahaaaaa! I won't have any problems* when I can walk round the corner to Aldi North!

*apart from not being able to leave my house by car due to the traffic that will be at a standstill on the Stone Road....

What's all that about then. Saw it full of staff filling shelves just last weekend...... Maybe risk of ongoing Severn Trent works?

31st

Seems like a clusterf_ck all round - leaflet drop up this way ( was it even an E&S insert? Must've cost them some either way...) had opening 17th (Thursday) 8.00 am - first 100 customers to be given Golden Envelopes, prizes to be won, 1st prize being big ass TV, come to our gilded opening event that is definitely on the 17th, that sort of thing.
They had loads of staff in filling shelves like mad, this monday afternoon, less than an hour before the new 31st March opening' sign was being put up. (Being a nosy git , I would have asked the bloke as I walked past, but my voice was down to a croak by that time) . By that time the staff had gone, and what looked like a big wig in a suit was just driving off the carpark.

Wonder how many people , having not seen the new signs, were standing on Aldi's doorstep nice and early today to claim their golden envelopes advertised in the delivered leaflet? (Or if the sign people have put up the wrong sign, the staff standing in an empty store wondering where the heck all the customers are)

More likely it's because they know something regarding road works that we are yet to find out about, until it's too late.
Let's hope it's delayed again due to roadworks, glad these roadworks are kickin' back to those that create them in the first place etc etc etc

Possibly there's a shortage of golden envelopes in Stafford?

I wondered the very same thing - was anyone on here passing at 8am?
