A few posts under my belt
just looking at ratemyplace and noticed ali's and al karims have no stars,

stafford HM Prison has 5 stars. gonna make me think twice when i'm wasted on a fri/sat night and fancy some food

That was a bit of a 'Gruel-ing' answer, lets just wheat and see what others have to say, and i hop it's better than this.

How do I edit this?
The site makes interesting reading. The smart Italian in Stone you all recomended (and we would have visited last night had certain events not transpired) only got two stars, as did Romance, my Stafford takeaway of choice. However some of the reports read worse for 3 and 4 star places than they did at no star ones - I suppose that's down to the difference between the general impression they give and what they've specifically been told they need to sort out.

I think every place I've ever eaten from has had a less than satisfactory rating, but I like the food! Malabar is in a cellar near the river, to not expect rats to try and get in is ludicrous so the odd sign is bound to appear. If I get ill I wont go back to somewhere, nor if it looks dirty obviously, but I suspect my own kitchen would have failed miserably too. Especially to those who remember Tek Monkey Towers 1!

You know, I was thinking just the other day about posting a link to that site. Wolverhampton City Council use one called scores on the doors, pretty much the same thing. It Definatley helps inform on decisions where to eat so I've not tried any of the nil star establishments.

Generally any of your fast food/chain outlets perform well. They have alot to loose nationally if they get bad press and the cleaning standards are something indoctrinated into any new Maccy D's member of staff!

Very interesting site - I see P&A did well which is good :)

Just checked out kids primary school too - all ok which is good news!
