'Alternative' shop

Someone told me that a new 'alternative' shop had started up in Stafford - does anyone know anything about this? I'm assuming they meant alternative as in goth/hippy/steampunk kind of style. I'd love to know what it sells & where it is if it's true!

Hi Ramona.

It's called: Paramnesia and it's in what used to be the Dallans shop by the Gaol Square roundabout. Their web site is: http://www.paramnesiaclothing.co.uk

The site only gives very basic details at the moment and they are independent traders so
deserve a lot of support I think.

I've been in. Nothing grabbed me by the lapels and demanded I buy it but they did have a couple of pretty hellbunny dresses. I expect I'll pop back in too see if theres anything new.

hi. Yes we are on gaol road where Dalans /Wicked willies used to be. We sell a range of clothing including Necessary evil ,Spiral and band t-shirts. also accessories and Directions hair dye. (select few colours).

It's an old term penned by a Sci-fi writer that has only recently caught on.

As a style it's remarkably similar to that of Terry Gilliam (especially in Brazil and 12 Monkeys)

Ooh yay, somewhere more local to buy my hair colours! :D I shall have to come and check you out when I'm back in the country next week!

Feel free to pop in any time your in town. that goes for any one who just wants to. (curiosity is good). if we havent got the colour you want i will be ordering more colours in the new year just let me know which ones you like. If you have any questions you can contact us through the forum, facebook or our website (www.paramnesiaclothing.co.uk)has limited info including the telephone number. This goes for anyone.

also if there are any bands or venues that want to advertise their gigs feel free to pop in too we can do that. we have a wall dedicated to promotions.

If any business would like to leave business cards in the shop you are also welcome.
