I was searching for a specific optical illusion artist on the net who's work I saw but just forgot the name, finally found M.C Escher. But while searching I stumbled across this head melting video!

So, so impressive. Must be have so confusing to draw, don't know how he did it. Incredible. A family member bought me 'Convex and Concave' as 1000 piece jigsaw. Either it was a cruel joke, or a genuine thought... Either way, I've given up with it!

I love this piece.

Is there any artists you could recommend with a style that's very distinctive in the illusion style?

I do like René Magritte. He was more of a 'verbal' illusionist in a pictorial style :-

H.R Giger, one of the only artists who's work creeps me out. Awesome stuff!
Just in case anyone was going to post any examples of H. R. Giger's work, please remember not to post anything inappropriate! :P

This one really makes your head hurt. Is she spinning left? or Right?

( if you look at the shadow of her foot she'll spin right when you look back up, if you look at her foot she'll start spinning left when you look back up)

When you realise she's not actually spinning just moving left then right half way.

My dentist used to have an Escher on the ceiling above his chair. It was a good way of distracting you from all the hardware he was shoving in your mouth.
