Dear Aunt Fanny,
I have a problem that I seem to come across as an opinionated gobshite, which tends to offend people. Can you help me?

I wouldn't say I don't like all taxi drivers, you were beginning to grow on me a bit. But I do make the best Doughnuts ever, or so my kids and customers say.

i am forcing my self not to like doughnuts. i am too much of a fatty. i'm sure you make wonderful ones, but if i start eating them it turns into something like that bit in the simpsons where homer is in hell and scoffs all the underworld doughnuts.

Dirtybobby seems to have a fixation on quoting comedy sketches, (check entertainment thread) I E fonejack and my name is earl, please help him, this is very annoying, does he not realise that these things are funny only when said in the sketch, not when repeated. Can you help?

I've recently had my feelings hurt by some people on the Internet, and now my barely-adequate emotional defences are crumbling.. Should I seek counselling, or am I destined to cry myself to sleep every night for the rest of my life?

As you are a bit of an attention seeker it's hard not to pay attention to you. Your face is on every page, finger is in every post so to speak. You appear to know it all, have the answer to everything so if your feelings have been hurt it's because everyone is talking about you behind your back, you only have yourself to blame. Lay low for a while, give us all a rest. If you think that you may need couselling then have a word with the Doctor, he also seems to know it all so i'm sure he would be able to offer some advice. He also may tell you ' on yer bike' (he's into cycling) . Anyway, stop feeling sorry for yourself, things could be worse. Look at 'Timeflies'. Now that's sad.
