Hi Andreas, they did sell bottled beer from a local brewery when I went to the Bean Encounter in June. However, this may have been a temporary thing. Can anybody from the Bean Encounter shed any light on this?

I've bean in twice this weekend, beers were just those listed by Andreas earlier. The Samuel Adams was rather nice, but was served in a Lymestone brewery glass!

Popped back in for lunch today, went for the taquitos again. They were ground pork rather than pulled this time, but I was up for them anyway and they were lovely

The second one looks a little thrown together.

The first was bbq beans rather than refried, and shredded pork rather than ground. I thought the second one was better presented to be honest, preferred the bbq beans though.

Tastecard offer is now 2 for 1 rather than 50% off, I still only had one though. Must have been costing them a fortune, but if the offer is there you can't expect people not to use it.

Went in for lunch today and it was still great. We arrived at the right time, as it quickly filled for some live music which started up (just as we left).
Good food, good drink, good service, good atmosphere.

I had the chicken burger and whilst it looked small, it was filling, and the prices are cheap enough.

Gossip; the owner has bought upstairs recently and will be converting into two flats, the rooms up there are the same layout as below but taller ceilings, so there you go.

Had a fab burger here for lunch with crispy bacon and a side of nachos with guacamole. Best guacamole I've ever eaten and the mocha was lovely.
