i'm not one for foreign films, usually, but this is just amazing.. plot synopsis from imbd:

imdb said:
Set in the ghettos of Paris in 2010, an undercover cop and ex-thug try to infiltrate a gang in order to defuse a neutron bomb.
sounds nowt special.. what is special is the incredible feats of parkour used almost constantly throughout the film.. seriously, the escape routes these guys come up with, and the dexterity and fluidity with which they are executed is astounding to watch..

the film is only 84 minutes, and is non-stop action all the way.. if you liked ong-bak, or danny the dog, or anything like that with bad ass matrix-like stunts but performed for real, with no wires/trickery, you need to see this..

i've got it on HD, so if anyone has a media centre & HD TV let me know and i'll hook you up.. if not, for god's sake please rent the DVD or something.. it is amazing..

Have seen this film and I agree it is absolutly amazing. Torrents for it are easily found on the usuall sites isohunt, piratebay etc. etc. etc. (both links go straight to torrents for B13). The movies also goes unders the names of 'District 13' in some cases. If you like action movies or are even mildly interested in parkour it is well worth a watch. Look this one up people, if i can find an alternative streaming source instead of a torrent i will post, but is worth taking the time D/L'ing the film anyway.

If you have no idea what parkour is there is a video on google-video that is worth a look, it has crazy russian guys doing some pretty amazing parkour-stunts (don't know if 'stunts' is the right word but still).

Also on the subject of torrents i'm sure we all have our favorite sources for them but there is a site i have found usefull it's called Torrent Freak and it lists up and comming torrent sites and details of what kind of torrent they specialise in. Some like FlixFlux focus on movie releases. On the frontpage they list the US box office charts, DVD rental charts, and the UK box office charts with torrents next to them. It's a good place to look for ideas even if you go back to your more favourd torrent site/sites for the actuall file.

I have strayed from the point of this thread a little sorry...

But yes, deffinatly Watch Banlieue 13

I'd just like to remind everyone of the warning given in the sticky thread at the top of this forum.

As long as nothing offensive is posted, we are fairly relaxed about what you point to, but please be aware that these external links have no connection or affiliation with Stafford Forum and we cannot be responsible for what content you may find there or the harm your computer may come to as a result of downloading from there.

My personal advice would be, unless are fairly computer savvy and 100% confident about what you are clicking, don't.

indeed.. but i would compell anyone to watch the proper, subtitled french version.. don't worry - the dialogue is minimal, but it really would lose some of the credibility/comedic value if it was dubbed..

I agree with Dirtybobby, watch the subtitled version people this isn't really a dialogue film so there's not really alot of reading to do.

District 13 is just a different name for the same film, both are available dubbed & subtitled.

The lead charictor sister, Dany Verissimo, in the film is Drewl-worthy too :P
