As long as resources are finite capitalism will exist to some extent.
Not necessarily. Leaving distribution of finite resources to a free market economy is pretty flawed.
So who should it be left to? That's my main issue with anarchy, for it to work someone still needs to be in charge!

Have you ever met a wealthy anarchist?

OK, call me stupid here, but as most of these countries owe each other money why shuffle it all about until the debts are all one way? As an example Italy owes Ireland $46b, but Ireland owes Italy $18b in return. Why not just say the debt is now $28b instead?

Bloody hell, I just reduced Europes debts by about 10% in one stroke, I should be in government! ;)

Aah, but if you did that then 'highly qualified financiers' wouldn't be able to claim bonuses for adminstering both of the debts - think it through..

I remember touring through Europe years ago, changing money every 2 or 3 days and getting shafted on exchange rates (I was going to say hammered, but I was normally hammered getting shafted, if you know what I mean!). The Euro did have a positive point, that being no exchange rate shafting, but I sense most Europeans in the Euro zone felt worse off once they'd joined, but I guess someone has to pay for the European Parliament jolly!

I used to love changing my money, it became toy money that I didn't care about spending as I'd already written it off! Saying that I still use a 100 drachma note as a bookmark, worth about 20p IIRC?

There seems only one way for the UK and indeed Europe to get themselves out of debt.....

Stop buying cheap consumable products from Asia, starting with those shit pile of wank Chinese farking lanterns.

Only looking inwardly and reducing Imports will we ever see our national debt reducing.

This would however require a unified country, A magnanimous population and some good old fashioned hard work from all quarters.

I for one say bring it on! Its time for countries to stand on their own two feet, account for their own population and land.

This may sound a bit harsh but you know what that's LIFE! (and breathe)

"O and no capitalism in my utopian future!"

You can waste a lot of time and resources pulling in different directions wouldn't you say???

Now... who to set an example inspirational enough for people to change four centuries of filthy, greedy, power hungry, culture stifling habits????
