We was posh. If we were lucky we had chopped ham from a tin, baked beans and half a slice of bread and butter for Sunday tea.I also also forgot about the luxuries .... Shippams Salmon Paste on cream crackers for Sunday Tea.
Pernod & blackOoooh Cherry B & cider = 'Leg over' Was my favourite tipple ( with a few Pernods knocked back along with them for good affect)
Pernod & black
We had jelly in a bowl (We weren't posh enough to afford jelly moulds) made the previous day as we didn't have a fridge , and carnation milk. With a slice of white bread with dripping from the cup of fat setting on the kitchen window sill. Yummy! And so good (not) for those arteries .We was posh. If we were lucky we had chopped ham from a tin, baked beans and half a slice of bread and butter for Sunday tea.

Jelly was always rabbit shaped when i was a kid, and made with carnation, not water. (No it wasn't blamanche).Ahhhh memories of jelly with Carnation Evaporated milk. (Around the campfire in Sherbrook Valley, ... but without the jelly ... or the milk for that matter as some daft twat had forgotten the tin-opener.)
Some of us can remember when people used to complain about how there were too many shoe shops in Stafford. There is no longer a single dedicated shoe shop in Stafford Town.
What's a leather casie?
