The Old Library. The Old Cinema. The Old Chetwynd Centre. What a Job Lot to raise to the ground!
Pity Fred Dibnah is no longer taking bookings.
If I had billions of pounds I'd get all 3 and turn them into a flexible events space / café / bar / hotel complex (not that I walk past them every day and I've given this some thought)
And a lot of people (myself included) are not idiots but don't understand where one organisations umbrella stops and another starts....No, lots of people are idiots

None takenTrue, sorry - didn't mean to offend but I see the BC get blamed for a lot of stuff that's just out of their hands.
Still shows cloisters. You had me wondering, there!

I don't think that's true, I know exactly what I am.Without even realising it
Nah, the cloisters are on the other side of he school from the hall. Tesco was built on the old cricket pitch & the railway club & yards.I'd be surprised if the hall wasn't listed. Although the cloisters went I think when Tesco came, and they were a lovely part of it.
Quite right. There were a few acts on there for a short period in the early seventies. I'd forgotten about them, it was very strange getting pissed in what was the old school.Trapeze played there
The Chetwynd Centre is an old and costly building to maintain
Already a done deal, almost certainly.Sealed bids eh, wonder if they have a mate lined up.
