Went to a music festival themed wedding down in one of the more isolated parts of Devon at the weekend, the landlord at the happy couples local donated a 30l barrel of local cider.
Went down well with the great weather we had.
Got invited to another blessing to take place at Sidmouth folk festival next month, can't wait.

Cider festival at spoons starts tomorrow, should have 5 or 6 available at a time and will do 1/3 pint tasting glasses. The rhubarb one looks interesting, the ginger and chilli will certainly be tried but possibly as a 1/3!

Sounds like a 'goody'. Got the kids home this week-end, might entertain them for an hour. Was wondering what to do with them tomorrow. Bar-be at home Sat night .

The 2 litre Weston's @ £3.99 is back in the current Lidl leaflet, though I didn't actually spot it in the shop, but, then, I wasn't looking for it....

Damn it! I was in Lidl just after 8am this morning...obviously far too sleepy to notice this! :(

It might not actually be there now - just saw it in the current leaflet, so it might be a day or two yet. I wasn't really looking, just popped in for the milk that I forgot yesterday...

tek-monkey nice to put a face to a name, as promised the cider of Stafford Festival was Hecks Port Wine of Glastonbury and the Perry was Olivers.
Now if only we could get Stafford pubs to stock cider like this

You're telling me, the younger guys I was with were an ale drinker and a lager drinker yet neither ventured far from the cider bar! Everyone did love the Olivers perry, so glad I saved some for home :D

Landlords of Stafford, do yourself a favour and try something different! How long does a bag in a box last? Its only 36 pints, get one in that I like and I promise to drink the whole box within a month if nobody else helps out.

Maybe worth suggesting to the Railway? Shame I can't get down for the meeting tonight but off to Wales straight from work tomorrow and not packed yet! Or washed clothes for that matter....
