I've not been in for a long time, probably not since 6 months after Fran and Gary got the place. There was a really strong urine smell to the left of the pub though, that they just couldn't seem to shift (and I know it wasn't from lack of trying). I suspect a full toilet refurb was required, it was in a state, but I've not been back in years for that very reason. If you can imagine the Firkin, just after the smoking ban so there was no tobacco to hide the stench, it was rather like that.

Bargain Booze ("Making life richer for the pourer"©) selling Kingstone Press ciders at an introductory offer of £1 a bottle.

Only 'stairs' flavours available at the Radford Bank one, a poncy fruit based one is threatened by the producer so may be available elsewhere.

Last time I wandered into the coffee shop in the store in Penn Road, Wolverhampton, the beer & cider shelves seemed to contain most of them. Their delivery vans certainly wander around Penkridge as well. Not that I've every bought any cider from Waitrose.

It's there now - on the bottom of the 'Special' shelves, near the new freezer, by the Veg area - i.e., not in the Booze section.
