I've never been to Bean Encounter. Does it have a bar? If so then this sounds like a good night out.

I believe that wine and some bottled beers are available, but the website is still under construction.

They do a nice (American Style) breakfast, if that's your thing....

I have been informed that they will be serving drinks from the bar all evening.

Food that evening will be served until 8.30pm when the comedians come on.

Oh that would be no contest for me.
Standing outside in the cold and drizzle with my hair getting frizzy, with a glass of warm wine and a soggy hot dog. ;)

Or all cosy inside with a chilled glass of something and a good laugh.

There are a few of us going, just booked a table so that we can have a bite to eat first.

    Horses for courses I suppose.
    Both scenarios have their appeal.

    Did anyone go to this?

We went for a meal then watched the comedy and had a really good evening. It was a lovely intimate venue, such a good atmosphere.

It was a bit of a mixed bag, some comedians were better than others but overall a good show.

I did think though that the compere was the funniest.

Mind you, I would say that, I am perhaps a bit biased as he is my son. :)
