My Dad rang Wolverhampton Road where he's at and they are doing it in alphabetical order. I think it will all accelerate next week once the Oxford one is approved.

If that works... It's a bit like the smallpox jab I think, that gave protection even if you'd been exposed.

Calculate where you are in the queue for a vaccine

May/June for me.
Mines 6-23 March according to that.

Got a UK holiday booked towards end of March( if it can still go ahead) and another for April , so both jabs bound to be during our holiday weeks.
Would travel back for it to make sure I got it ok if that happens.

Hubbys come up as 23 march-5may so deffo looks like we will be planning our holiday days out as a visit back to Stafford

I would treat the results of this very much with a pinch of salt. So many things can happen in the next few weeks/months that could either delay or bring forward vaccinations.

All original figures were based on only three quarters of the pop accepting the vaccination

So far its nine tenths

And three groats

Astra gets the cert Thursday, roll out from a week tomorrow

Happy New Year

If 9 tenths take it up that's even better.

I know someone setting up the hub in another county. They're to be ready for 8th January, and if they can get the staff, could vaccinate 11k a day.

Son had a missed phone call from the blood donor number the other day as he was on his way here. Since had an email asking him to donate his blood plasma with him having Covid-19 recently.
Nearest centres to Worcester to attend though are Wolverhampton or Birmingham.
