Yes.Pfizer?
Good man. Hope you have a great time.Actually *am* going to a gig today! It was the right decision not to go to the one last week that had no covid precautions but my folks have had their booster since then and the venue tonight in Bristol DOES have checks so I decided, feck it, I need something to get me through the winter and now is about as safe a moment as there will be for me to do so until next summer, probably.
I'll be hanging at the back and masked (as much as I'll want to rip it off and dive into the pit) but I'm sure I'll enjoy it just as much, with how starved of live music I've been! Late 2019 was my last gig, but tonight I'll be seeing the brilliant Don Broco:
So yeah, off to Bristol in a bit.
Enjoy yourself buddy! You can always double mask or use FFP2 masks for added personal protection.Actually *am* going to a gig today! NoYes.
I hope you logged that as a side effect on the yellow card system?Bolstered at lunchtime, weirdest thing afterwards was I needed to consume 3 pints of Plum Porter Grand Reserve......
Well, if its any consolation, I didn't follow the minime's instructions of 'windmill your arm for a bit every half hour, it stops it hurting'.... So probably my own fault.Well that's cheered me up. I'm just about to set off to Westward Ho! for my booster.
I was perfectly fine after my Pfizer Booster. Just a bit of an achy arm which started the next day , but only lasted about a day. (I had Pfizer for my first 2 jabs as well)Well that's cheered me up. I'm just about to set off to Westward Ho! for my booster.
Glad you enjoyed it. I had a similar excited feeling after @tek-monkey and a few other friends went to the Stereophonics at Scarborough earlier in the year.Man, gig last night was immense. I absolutely promise you that I INTENDED to hang back on the outskirts but I bumped into the lead singer of the band I was seeing earlier in the day which got me hyped up and, before I knew it, I was on the barrier. I did keep my mask on for the entire gig though, which I wasn't sure was doable but I managed it (and it's a well-fitted one as well with a proper filter insert). Started to have a minor freak out this morning about the fact I was in such a big crowd last night but I definitely needed that.
Now I'm just going to test every day and avoid the parents for a week or two.
