Thought I was going to get my home- waxed face and bushy/ wonky eyebrows put right sometime soon with the announcement of beauty salons re-opening. But no face treatments allowed.Looks like I will have to go to the barbers for a beard trim

Oh and it's illegal to drink alcohol in sight of a football pitch, certainly at premier league level.

I've just caught the 101 bus back from town and a guy got on the bus just past Holmcroft road talking on his phone without wearing a mask.

I questioned the driver as I got off the bus at Redhill and apparently it was ok because the guy had a mask in his hand!!!!

The guy didn't even put it on after he finished his call, FFS!!!

As @Lucy might say people are idiots. How long before the next spike?

Cases have plateaued, it'll be interesting to see what the next week or so brings. Would those that didn't care about SD in pubs go for a test though?

I'm following UkCovid19Stats on twitter, the only place I can get coherent information from.

Ikea was never the same since Ragnar Lodbrok was thrown into a pit of serpents. Proof that Scandinavians are all as mad as a box of frogs, and all Brits are even madder. (If there is such a word. Take all the nutters in Europe, mix them up with a good brush ... and what do you get ... BRITS.) :P

Went to Knutsford yesterday to visit Gurly's nearby wedding venue. In Knutsford town centre they've installed plastic roadworks barriers to create passing places for pedestrians enabling social distancing to be maintained when approaching other people. Simple but effective. Even better, people were actually using them.

I realise that I have now been into nine buildings since March - I may stop counting now.

Two shops this afternoon and the garage, when I paid for the fuel yesterday.

I'm contemplating venturing into the nearby metropolis in a few day's time...

Apparently, the minime urgently needed a bucket hat, so we went to Primark.

It was actually ok staff were great & friendly, sanitiser available at the door, people kept to themselves and socially distanced nicely.... apart from one older woman who decided to remove her face ask to have a horrific coughing fit in the shoe department, safe to say everyone disappeared like smoke and no shoes were bought.
