Councillor question time?

I recieved a letter yesterday from Staffordshire County Council inviting me along to this from the leader of the council John Taylor, for the 9th of September! and to reply by the 5th of September, now have they mis-printed the date or did they not want any response?

Has any one else had one of these?

Did anyone see in the E&S that Staffordshire County Council paid £500 (of our money) for some leaflets that were misprinted with the details of the Lichfield equivalent?!

I emailed them saying that I had noted that the venue was fully wheelchair accessible but asking if it would be accessible to time-travellers, otherwise I won't be able to have attended the Lichfield event. I think the joke may have been beyond them. They might as well pile our council tax up in the street and set fire to it - at least we'ld be warm for a minute or two.

Why go to a meeting to listen to people who are just there cos they like the sound of their own voice and full of their own importance!! I don't trust any councillor (is that spelt right) or politician as far as i could throw them?? and thats not far!! As soon as people get into a position of power they become greedy and are only concerned with what's best for themselves!! So there! I don't normaly have a rant, don't know what happend there? think I'll have to go and lie down now.

It's getting out of hand now, I was writing a letter the other day and couldn't help drawing little pictures all over it! Don't think the bank manager (he really does look like this) was impressed, didn't get the loan I was after!
