Getting back to the subject, I think this is a brilliant idea. Cos I have none of me own.

Hi all.

I'm in need of some acrow props. I know they sell them in Screwfix and the like, but I only need them for a quick (hopefully) job, so am looking to hire them instead.

I've only come across one company in Stafford that does hire and that's Jewson but does anybody know of anywhere else in the Borough that might? Cheers.

Cheers Gram, although I was wanting it to be Stafford specific to cut down on possible delivery / my own petrol costs. Thanks (as always) but good idea on the scaffolding point.

Cheers for doing that @Trumpet, I really appreciate it. I'm wondering if that's £4 in total for the week? I know that sounds like a daft question, but Jewson charges £7.56 a day, with a minimum hire for one week. Which comes in at.........£7.56 for the week! I'll nip in myself later this week and ask.

Again, I just feel the need to say thanks for popping in @Trumpet and @EasMid for mentioning Traction in the first place. I did check their website out initially, but could find no mention of hiring acrows. Anyway, I picked up two this morning. Seems like a great service, nice people and the business is local. So far, thumbs up from me. That is, until my house falls down.
